Some of you may or may not know my LOVE for Nascar, mostly my LOVE for Tony Stewart. Well I was given the chance to meet Tony Sunday night at the Coca Cola 600. It was an unbelievable night, we really rubbed elbows with Nascar. We spent the entire race in the pits and in the garage. I could never put into words what it was like. These are just a few of the pictures. Saw so many other people too. Tony was my favorite, we walked from his hauler to pit road together while he signed my #20 car. Dale Jr. signed a hat for us, I had to run along side he walks so fast. Ward met Jeff and Carl Edwards 2 of his favorites. Waltrip was as nice so nice, taking a picture with me, while I wore my #20 hat. Upclose and personal does not even touch it... It is a night I will never forget.

You may or may not know that for 10 straight days the race world comes to charlotte. Everyone in the Adcock household has a favorite Nascar driver. Gage, Davis and I of course support Smoke ( aka Tony Stewart). Ward on the other hand supports a driver that will not be named on our blog!!! Anyway, we all headed out to Lowes MotorSpeedway Thursday night to see the guys qualify. It was a fun night. Davis clapped and clapped whenever everyone else did. He even began pointing to the right (a common tradition at races, so that the driver knows which way to go on the track). What proud a proud mother I am! We all (minus Ward) stood and cheered when Smoke took the track! He took it easy - knowing that Sunday will be the day for him to SHINE. Ward and I head to the race Sunday and as always I am looking forward to a redneck kinda day. (Although Gage defines redneck as being shirtless, so on second thought......)

Last weekend we headed to Lake Lure, NC - where part of Dirty Dancing was filmed. We rented a house and spent the entire weekend relaxing, fishing, boating and just having a wonderful time. The boys fished each day and Davis had his first boat ride. We had three full days of beautiful weather and were so sad to return home on Monday.

Sometimes they fight as brothers do, but most of the time they are very loving towards one another. They have really started to have converstations with each other and talk about things like the Wiggles, Indians, race cars, and how Davis is not a baby. (A point which Davis will argue.)

A friend of Davis and Gage had a party recently at a nearby farm. They had a wonderful time. But I snapped this picture of Davis and a few of his buddies, it was so funny - They look like they are up to something, don't they? They were all standing around talking to one another about something very very important.
Also a picture of Gage and his friend Kathryn!

Gage and Ward went fishing on Friday, gearing up for our big late trip this weekend. I never realized that some fish must be deaf - at least that is the only way we can even explain how Gage, who talks non-stop, caught a fish. He was very excited and can not stop talking about the fish he plans to catch this weekend at Lake Lure. Hopefully those fish will have bad hearing as well!

I can not believe I forgot to post from Easter morn. The boys decided to pose in the mud outside before Church - it was so cold that morning - cold enough that the bunny had to hide eggs inside! But I love this picture of the boys so I couldn't be remiss in posting.
