Family Night

The other night we took the boys to Monkey Joes, I have posted about it before. It is a great indoor bouncy playground. The boys had a wonderful time as did Ward and I. The huge slides are fabulous. We had many races to see who could get up the fastest followed by who could get down the fastest. Neither Gage nor Davis have a fear of heights and climbed up the 12 foot wall on one of the bouncers in no time! Afterwards we took a trip to Pikes - an Ol' fashion soda shop in Charlotte. They have the best malts and amazing sandwiches! After dinner the boys had kid size sundaes. We all indulged!

Sleep Comes Easy

I have been blessed with two wonderful sleepers. Both Gage and Davis go down for naps and bedtime without a fuss. I am a little nervous about Little Adcock 3 --- can we keep up such good luck. One of my favorite things is to go and check on them and give them a final nightnight kiss. Gage has a few bed buddies but "BearDog" is always over his face or under his chin. BearDog was given to Gage by a friend of mine Connie Rimmer from Greenville, SC when he was about 3 months old. Davis too has a few bed buddies but "Puppy" is always what he cuddles with as he drifts off to sleep. "Puppy" came to us from cousin Debbie last summer via Isle of Palms. "Puppy" may look like a lion but Davis has always called him "Puppy" from day one - so who can argue.

Funny Man Davis

I was recently looking at some pictures of Davis to add to his album. He has always had the funniest expressions. Looking back I realize he is really a clown at heart. Gage's teacher told us last year that he was "the Class Clown". I think Davis may give him a run for the money.

Pick of the Week

Last night we all headed to a local classic car show. It was a great night and the boys had a blast. They even helped answer questions about the 'vette. About 55 classics came out for the cruis'in. There were even a few other corvettes including a red 61, that was beautiful. But at the end of the night Ward's 1962 was chosen as "Pick of the Week"! At the end of the summer all the weekly winners compete for prizes! The boys were so excited. Their hard work cleaning up the car Saturday morning paid off!

And Baby Will Make 5

The Adcock Circus will be adding a new addition this January. This time we are going to take a look before the birth and find out if our house will be "My Three Sons" or if my status as Princess will be turned over. What do you think Boy Adcock or Girl Adcock? Check back to see.

The Cowboy In Me

I wonder if this is how Tim McGraw got his start?

Big Bang Boom - Happy 4th

What a great way to celebrate the nations Independence! A BBQ and Fireworks at the Callicuts. We spent the early part of the day at the pool. They had a great lunch and some really fun pool games. Here are a few pictures from the Fireworks display. A special thanks to Uncle Scott and Daddy for keeping us (somewhat) safe.

The Best Gifts

My father had a knack for buying the boys really great gifts. He loved to buy them toys they could ride on. Gage got this fatback from him a few years ago, it was put together wrong at the store and Ward just got it working this summer. He also bought them this JohnDeer Gator, which they love. They have been spending evenings racing each other in circles around our backyard. They both may have a future in racing!
